Kington Town Council will hold a private meeting with Herefordshire Council’s Leader and Chief Executive early in the new year.

The meeting with Councillor Jonathan Lester and CEO Paul Walker will take place on January 7 in the Old Police Station.

But it is not a formal town council meeting, so the town council will not be able to make decisions and members of the public cannot attend.

Town clerk Liz Kelso said at a recent meeting; “Any items raised at the meeting requiring a formal decision by the town council will be the subject of a separate agenda item at the January meeting of the town council.”
