Emergency services called after single-vehicle crash near Bridgnorth

Police and firefighters rushed to the scene of a car crash north of Bridgnorth on Tuesday morning.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue were called to the B4373 in Nordley near Bridgnorth at around 8.43am on Tuesday.

Initially, the fire service were told of a single-vehicle collision with a person reportedly trapped inside.

Three crews from Bridgnorth, Craven Arms and Wellington fire stations attended the scene and upon arrival, the firefighters found no one was trapped and the incident was left with police.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to a single-vehicle collision on the B4373 near Bridgnorth at around 8.40am this morning.  Nobody was injured and no arrests were made."
