Beginning tomorrow and on stage until January 25, this year, the Theatre on the Steps is presenting the well-known fairy tale of Cinderella.
The dazzling performance is set to bring laughter and enjoyment, as the theatre's shows have for years in the town, making it a loved local tradition.
The fun-filled story is set to feature well-known songs and hilarious comedy, and Shropshire residents are being invited to attend and boo, hiss and cheer at the family pantomime.
Rehearsals for the show began during November, and director for this year's production, Nikki Genner is excited to get underway.
She said: "We're really excited to get back into it, it is one of the best ways to get rid of the January blues.
"Panto is vital and one of the key things in the calendar that helps to keep our theatre afloat and make sure that we can keep it open for the community for the rest of the year.
"It's so vital in our calendar and I look forward to it every year and I think everybody else who takes part in it does too.
"It has become such a staple in Bridgnorth's January.
"I think people want something to look forward to, light-hearted, and fun.
"We started rehearsals in November and have been beavering away since then.
"We have rehearsed through Christmas too and it has been all systems go since then.
"The show has got everything you could expect, with the ugly sisters, the wicket step-mother, a loving Cinderella, her best friend Buttons, and also her little friend Max the dog who helps to save the day as well, so there is a little extra sprinkle of magic alongside the classic tale you would expect."
Tickets for the pantomime vary from between £12 and £15. The pantomime is running between January 9 and 25.
