Rail line between Shrewsbury and Chester re-opens after work to clear landslip
A rail line has re-opened after workers cleared a landslip.

The line between Shrewsbury and Chester had been shut since the weekend after a landslip near Gobowen.
Network Rail said that more than 100 tons of earth had fallen onto one of the two tracks.
Trains between Shrewsbury and Chester have been operating on a diverted route, while passengers for Gobowen, Chirk, Ruabon and Wrexham General, have had to use a bus replacement service.
But this morning, Wednesday, January 8, the line has reopened.
Posting on social media Network Rail thanked its workers and apologised to passengers for the disruption.
It said: "Train services have resumed between Shrewsbury-Wrexham, following a landslip at Gobowen.
"We would like to apologise to customers for any delays and thank them for their patience.
"Thanks to our teams, who worked around the clock to remove the debris and carry out repairs."
