New opening hours for tiny Newport pub after temporary licence granted
Newport's newest - and possibly smallest - pub is now open every day after securing a temporary licence.

Just five weeks after Darren Wood secured the keys to a vacant retail unit on Newport's High Street, The Stag & Scotch Micropub opened for business on December 20.
The landlord hoped to take things "back to basics" with the new venture, encouraging conversation with no TVs and no loud music.
Over the festive season, opening times at the pub have been limited but now, Darren has said a temporary licence has been granted and the pub will now be open every day.
The Stag & Scotch will now be open Monday to Thursday from 3.30pm to 10pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 11pm and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm.
