Roger Parry and Partners LLP, on behalf of Llanforda Estate, applied for permission to build two cubicle buildings and a slurry lagoon at Trefarclawdd Farm - a dairy farm near Oswestry.
The proposal includes a slurry lagoon which will measure 50m by 25m and be earth banked and covered, along with two "modern agricultural buildings with slurry channels below".
The proposed use is to provide cattle housing (to include slurry storage and landscaping) alongside an existing farm.
The document states: "Llanforda Estate are proposing to erect the buildings to ensure that livestock on the farm have sufficient housing space as recommended by the RSPCA.
"The buildings are traditional in design and construction and will not look out-of-character due to the variety of agricultural buildings within the existing farmyard together with the surrounding landscape being predominately rural and agricultural."
The planning application is available to view online on Shropshire Council's planning portal using reference number 24/03015/EIA.
In addition to the planning documents, copies of the environmental statement may be obtained from Roger Parry and Partners LLP via email at richard@rogerparry.net or via telephone on 01691 655334.
