Man died after 'tragic accident' at work, Powys bottled water company confirms
A bottled water company near the Shropshire border with Wales has confirmed that a man who was working on a site development project has died in a 'tragic accident'.

Churchstoke-based manufacturer Montgomery Waters said a man died on Monday, January 6.
The man, a contractor employee, was airlifted to Royal Stoke University Hospital but died that evening.
The bottled water company on the Shropshire/Powys border said it would work closely with local authorities to complete an investigation.
A spokesperson for Montgomery Waters said: “We can confirm that one of the contractors’ workers, working on a site development project at Montgomery Waters, was involved in a tragic accident on Monday, January 6, and since then we have been working closely with the local authorities and others to complete an investigation.
"The gentleman was airlifted by the Welsh Air Ambulance to Stoke Hospital, who sadly passed away later that evening.
"We would like to thank all emergency services who attended, and the staff who assisted during this incident. We will continue to support all staff involved, and we send our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.”
