Bryan Stringer downloaded the videos and kept them on a laptop hidden in a bedroom of the Telford house he shared with his partner and children - while he was on a suspended sentence having previously admitted downloading dozens of images of children being abused.

Father-of-four Stringer, of Sutton Hill, was given a suspended sentence in 2023 after he admitted making indecent images - but in October last year, police received intelligence that he had again been downloading material depicting child abuse.

Shrewsbury Crown Court heard that officers visited his home on October 8, where his partner answered the door. She told the police Stringer was upstairs.

There were children present at the address and police took Stringer, aged 36, aside to talk to him about the allegations.
