The ambulance service was called to deal with injured people after a two car crash

Injured people were treated by the ambulance service after a two-vehicle crash.

The incident took place on the A4117 at Cleobury Mortimer at around 6.36pm, yesterday - Sunday, January 12.

One fire crew from Cleobury Mortimer was sent to the scene, with police and the ambulance service also in attendance.

Fire crews used Environment Agency equipment in dealing with the incident and said those hurt in the collision had been left in the care of West Midlands Ambulance Service.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We were called to reports of a two car RTC at the junction of the A4117 and B4363, Cleobury Mortimer at 5.51pm on Sunday 12th January.

"One ambulance attended the scene and assessed all occupants of both vehicles. No one required hospital treatment and were discharged on scene."
