On Tuesday night, Mayor Roy Aldcroft and Councillor Byron Chapman visited Market Drayton Fire Station to present a certificate to firefighters in the town for the good condition of the building.
In 2023, the fire station was named as one of the county's bloomin' best thanks to their wonderful and colourful floral tributes.
Mr Aldcroft and Mr Chapman witnessed their drill night and thanked fire personnel for their work in the North Shropshire town.
Mayor Roy Aldrcoft said: "We had the pleasure of joining them for part of their drill night and presenting the certificate because of the way in which they care of the station. They always have displays and various things.
"They have a lovely little garden there which is lit up at night with various bits of fire equipment on it. There are fire helmets hanging from the station and always something to look at, and it is something they do as an extra in addition to the way they serve the community.
