On Tuesday, PC Herwin and the Bridgnorth safer neighbourhoods team attended Oldbury Wells.
The officer addressed year 11 students, who are aged between 15 and 16, about the criminalities around the use of illegal vapes and smoking of cannabis within the school.
West Mercia Police said the visit followed a number of incidents involving students.
“There have been a few incidents with students that have then caused them to come to the notice of the police and it was felt that making them aware with what is and isn't legal would help them to make sensible choices,” a spokesperson said.
