Major Shrewsbury road re-opens after gas works completed
A major Shrewsbury road has reopened after major gas work was completed.

Cadent has been working on Harlescott Lane in Shrewsbury, close to the railway level crossing, since Wednesday last week.
Initially the road was shut in the direction of Harlescott Crossroads but it was later fully closed to allow Cadent to carry out the work.
A signed diversion was in place, with access retained for residents and businesses.
An update from Shropshire Council today (Friday, January 24) said: "Cadent have now repaired the gas leak by the level crossing and reinstated the the road.
"The road is now open and the signs/barriers will be removed later today."
