Severn Trent apologises to Whitchurch residents experiencing water issues as 'essential' repair work impacts supply
Severn Trent Water has apologised to Whitchurch residents who have experienced supply interruptions today (Monday, January 27).

A post by the water company at 1.25pm said residents have experienced no supply, poor pressure or discoloured water in the SY13 postcode area this morning.
Severn Trent Water said its crews are carrying out 'essential' repair works in the region that the company did not expect to affect customers' supplies.
An alert said: "We’d like to apologise to those experiencing no supply, poor pressure or discoloured water in the SY13 area of Whitchurch this morning. Our teams are carrying out some essential repair work.
"Although we didn’t anticipate this affecting our customers, we are aware that some customers' supplies have now been impacted. The team onsite are committed to getting this resolved quickly and efficiently so the water supply is back to normal as soon as possible.
"We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing and are confident this repair will be completed by 5pm."
Supplies were returned back to normal by 5.33pm.
An update thanked residents for their patience saying: "We’re pleased to inform you that the works in your area are now completed, and the water supply is back to normal.
"For those that were impacted by this we’d like to thank you for your continued patience whilst this was being carried out."
