Antiques centre's vintage railway display helps celebrate 60 years of Severn Valley Railway

A Shropshire antique store has compiled a selection of train memorabilia to coincide with 60 years of the Severn Valley Railway (SVR).

The Old Mill Antiques Centre in Bridgnorth always stocks a wide range of items for the railway enthusiast and centre owner John Ridgway said SVR passengers often call in to browse after getting off the line at Bridgnorth.

“The Severn Valley Railway has always been an amazing draw for tourists to this area and we would like to wish them a very happy 60th Birthday!”, said John. “To mark the anniversary centre staff have put together a display of vintage railway memorabilia.

“We always look forward to welcoming SVR travellers during their visits to our lovely town.”

The Old Mill Antiques Centre, in Mill Street, Low Town, is open seven days a week, from 10am to 5pm.
