Builth Wells Town Council has started thinking about their plan and ideas for the year ahead.
Mayor Councillor Gwyn Davies told members at a recent meeting that it should be about what the town council wants to achieve, projects they want to carry out and ideas like a series of videos promoting the town by Tremio.
Councillor Mark Hammond said the council should look at a refurbishment of the Croeso site, even if it’s a downgraded project than what they originally wanted to do.
He said they should also try and make progress on the mural project or it would drag on. The council had asked Moca Cymru if they had any ideas for a mural in the town to replace the famous one of Builth people waiting for a bus.
Town clerk Louise Hammond said she had not heard anything from Moca Cymru yet but she agreed to chase them up.
“Otherwise we should be drawing up what we think would be good there and then we would have to take the ideas to the site owners and see if they are happy with it,” said Councillor Hammond.
Councillor Davies said if any councillors have any ideas or sees something which they think the council could do then they should raise it in a council meeting for a discussion.
Members agreed.
