Driving a silver Audi A5, Luke Jackson, aged 41, was followed by police on the A442 at Madeley, Telford at 1.30am on December 24.

Telford Magistrates Court was told police thought he was driving in a “concerning manner”, going as fast as 90mph on a 60mph road and “weaving in and out of traffic”.

Officers followed Jackson to his home in Madeley. They could smell alcohol on his breath so they breathalysed him at the roadside. The test proved positive and Jackson was arrested.
