The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received two calls this morning reporting road traffic collisions on the B5061, Overley Hill in Wellington.

Firstly, the fire service reported that a small van left the roadway "due to weather conditions" and came to a rest in the roadside verge.

One fire crew was sent from Wellington Fire Station to the scene at around 7.10am, and the incident concluded at 7.30am.

But, just a minute later, the fire service received reports of another incident on the same stretch of road.

One car left the roadway, again due to "weather conditions" and the road being icy, and came to a rest in a hedgerow.

Firefighters were quickly on scene, and the incident concluded at 7.41am.
