Thieves steal bucket containing copper cable from container in rural Telford

A bucket containing a large quantity of copper cable has been stolen from a container in rural Telford.

West Mercia Police Business & Rural Crime Officer, Paul Gough reported the theft that occurred between Friday, January 24 and Tuesday, January 28.

Police received a report from a member of the public, who said thieves gained entry to a container in rural Telford near Wellington.

Suspects have stolen a bucket that was full of copper cable which was valued at approximately £40. 

An appeal on the force's Neighbourhood Matters page said: "If anyone has any information in relation to the theft of the cable or anything of evidential value please don't hesitate to contact the Police quoting the following reference numbers."
