In what is shaping up to be a particularly busy weekend for the county's firefighters, Shropshire Fire and Rescue were called out to a fire at a home in Pontesbury at around 5am on Sunday.
The incident, which involved a fire in a wheelie bin, happened on Ashford Avenue and was reported to the service at around 4.57am.
Two crews from Minsterley and Shrewsbury stations found the fire had spread to the garage of the home.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue said the team used a hose reel jet, a saw and other small tools to extinguish the fire.
The stop message, which indicates the scene was under control, was received at 5.40am.
On Saturday, crews from Telford and Wellington rushed to Joules in Shrewsbury after a discarded cigarette fell into the basement level of the store.
It came as crews were dealing with two house fires within half an hour in Shrewsbury on Saturday afternoon.
