The guest speaker for the afternoon was Mr Rod Holbrook who was accompanied by his wife Lynda.

One of Rod’s hobbies is photography and so he had brought along a wonderful selection of bird photos together with some amazing local scenery views as well as of further afield and which were of great interest.

Rod then went on to show some unbelievable footage of a mouse tidying up clutter in his work shed during the night.

Members found it to be both amazing and amusing to see the cute little creature picking up items such as clothes pegs, a screwdriver, bits of plastic, nuts, bolts, corks, plant pot trays etc and placing them into a pot.

Edna James thanked Rod for a lovely afternoon and for sharing his expertise with all those present.

Everyone then enjoyed light refreshments and a natter and the raffle prize was won by Edna James.

The Thursday Club meetings are held at 2pm at the Drovers Rest on the first and third Thursday afternoons each month and new members are always welcome.
