A man has appeared in court accused of strangling a woman.

Daniel Evans, aged 40, pleaded not guilty to a charge of intentional strangulation at Shrewsbury Crown Court, sitting at Telford Mgaistrates Court.
He is alleged to have committed the offence in Craven Arms on August 27 last year.
