Matt is new radio MD
A new managing director has been appointed at Beacon Radio, responsible for the two stations covering the West Midlands and Shropshire.

Matt Ramsbottom previously held the position of head of sales at Beacon Radio where he was responsible for the commercial side of the business and headed up a team of 14.
He started his career in the radio industry as a presenter 12 years ago at Tower FM in Bolton. He then moved to the Pulse radio station in Bradford before being appointed sales manager at Birmingham's BRMB radio station.
Matt has been at Beacon Radio since August 2005. While retaining his responsibilities as head of sales, he will be now be overseeing growth in both listener figures and revenue and focusing on developing the Beacon brand.
