Directors Andy Ellis, Craig Tarr and Dave TeeceA Telford company is celebrating the 25th anniversary it never expected to reach.

QA (Ironbridge) Limited, was under water this time last year thanks to the area's disastrous floods.

Director Andy Ellis said: "Our premises at Lightmoor were completely flooded out - it affected the showroom, the offices, and the production plant so badly that we had to move the business into temporary accommodation.

"But as the clear-up began, it was obvious we would never be able to move back into our offices and showroom.

"So rather than admit defeat, we were determined to find a way to continue our business and deliver the high customer service levels we are renowned for."

The company scoured the Telford area for a new home, and now, in their 25th anniversary year, they've opened a hi-tech showroom in Haygate Road, Wellington.

"We're delighted we've been able to turn what was potentially a fatal blow to our business into a real success story," said Andy.

"It's particularly great news that we've been able to open our new premises in such a landmark year for us, and all our customers have been incredibly supportive through some very difficult times."

The company, which first began trading in 1983, supplies and fits quality kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. As well as their new premises in Wellington, they also have a showroom in Newport.

"In an increasingly difficult marketplace, we are very pleased to still be trading so successfully, especially given the challenges we have faced in the last 12 months, and now we're looking forward to the next 25 years," said Andy.
