"It is important that we maintain a presence in the papers. It maintains our profile and it satisfies the clients' wish that the properties should be advertised in a medium where local people are going to see it.

"We have been impressed by the team's multi-media approach and the flexibility they demonstrate, which gives us a really good result.

"It's still the case that when we appear in the weekly papers, the phonelines light up.

"I would certainly say to any colleagues in business that advertising with the Star has a place in their marketing budget."
