The company is also building a £20,000 extension to its Emstrey headquarters, which will see two new service bays added to the repair side of the business.

The three new faces will bolster the servicing and insurance repairs team, in the face of increasing customer demand.

Adding the two new bays will bring the total available for repair work to 15, with the new faces meaning the workshops now employ a total of 28 members of staff.

Aftersales manager Viv Jones reported a 25 per cent increase in business during 2014, reflecting a successful year of touring caravan and motorhome sales for the company.

"The two new service bays and three new staff will help us to increase the amount of work that we can do," said Mr Jones, who previously worked in the motor trade for 45 years.

"Our accident repairs department has really taken off since we installed the state-of-the-art low bake oven.

"The key to our success is the highly skilled and experienced team of engineers that we have assembled and our constant focus on providing quality customer service."

All staff been on refresher courses to caravan manufacturers and suppliers during January to receive updates on new models and innovations.

The newcomers include engineers Nick Wood and Steve Watson, and 17-year-old apprentice Josh Roberts.

Since Mr Jones joined the company in 2006, workshop staffing has increased from 12 to 28, including four apprentices. A high-tech paint spray booth has also been installed.

He has overseen a rapid increase in servicing and insurance repair bodywork, as Salop Leisure has become the largest touring caravan and motorhome accident repair centre in the West Midlands, Cheshire and Wales.
