Software developer North Hill Apps has taken a letting on the second floor of Global House on the so-called Creative Quarter on the expanding park in the south of the county town.

It will see the company move from Malvern into Shropshire, having struck a deal through local chartered surveyors Cooper Green Pooks.

North Hill's portfolio includes an app for YunoJuno, which already had an established website bringing together freelancers and employers, and another for whisky enthusiasts through the William Grant & Sons Distillery.

Peter Rocker, technical director of North Hill Apps, said: "We specialise in producing cutting-edge smartphone applications for clients among a wide range of industries, from marketing agencies and appstore start-ups to consumer healthcare and enterprise solutions.

"Due to recent expansion, we wanted to relocate from the Malvern Hills Cyber Valley to larger offices to help support our future growth."
