New doughnut shop opening in Shrewsbury
A new independent doughnut shop will be opening in the county next month.
Planet Doughnut will open its doors at its new shop in Claremont Hill, Shrewsbury, on May 11.
The shop will be open from 9am to 4pm or until the doughnuts are sold out.
The business was established last year by husband and wife Duncan and Sam McGregor, who started developing flavours in the garage of their home.
The store will serve 20 varieties of doughnuts five days a week, along with speciality coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
Flavours include toffee crisp crunch, cherry bakewell, Terry's chocolate orange, salted caramel, and Oreo crumble.
Doughnuts can be delivered to customers on Mondays or Fridays.
The shop will also be hosting "design and decorate your own doughnuts" events.
