Micropub go-head for former Ironbridge shop
A former jeweller’s store in the heart of Ironbridge will be converted into a micropub and beer shop after getting the nod from Telford & Wrekin Council.
The unit in High Street has been empty since August.
It will now get a new lease of life after the transformation plans were passed under delegated powers.
It is thought four part-time jobs will be created.
The pub will serve real ales and, during the day, beer will also be sold from a shop at the premises.
Photos and memorabilia will also be on show to celebrate the history of the coracle.
