The firm has seen revenue up six per cent to £12.5 million and pre-tax profits up 24 per cent to £1.8 million for the six months ending June 30.

The Telford-based company employs about 200 people across its operations, with more than half of those at its Queensway Business Park headquarters.

It said of particular note was the successful delivery of the 1,000 seat fully managed public/private Hybrid cloud solution combined with two other ongoing complex projects.

Nigel Redwood, CEO of Nasstar, said: “2018 saw the first year of operating under our new organisational structure and this combined with three large projects has really tested the team, which I am delighted to say has responded to the challenge.

"We have invested in the technical delivery teams to increase project throughput whilst continuing to focus on the 'Nasstar 10-19' strategic initiatives. We are in year two of our three-year plan to achieve full integration and consolidation and I continue to be confident in the Nasstar 10-19 objectives.

"I have worked closely with the new business team to develop a sales pipeline that continues to include deals of larger size and believe Nasstar is perfectly positioned and better structured to deliver on projects of increased complexity and size.

"We have made an investment in our technical teams as we are seeing large, more complex projects in the pipeline.

"We have made an investment in Telford as much as our other locations. As a result it has meant an increase in headcount from our Telford HQ."
