A new builder's merchants in Whitchurch will create 10 jobs when it opens early next year.
Huws Gray is opening a new branch and a combination of management, shop floor, yard and driving positions are available.
Lee Harley, Huws Gray area manager, said: "We're delighted to open a new branch in Whitchurch, building works are well underway and we aim to be open early next year.
"We're delighted we are bringing 10 new jobs to the area, Huws Gray are committed to investing in new and existing branches to generate new employment opportunities.
"We will be transforming the site to a fully-fledged Huws Gray branch stocking quality building and DIY materials. We're looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors to assist with their projects.”
It is a site that has been empty for a couple of years and has previously been earmarked for a new supermarket.
But now the land at Waymills in Whitchurch could become the home of Huws Gray when it opens next year.
Aldi previously had planning permission to build a new store on the site, but later did a U-turn on the scheme.
The closing date for job applications is November 6.
