140 jobs at risk at MG Motor in Birmingham
A consultation is being carried out at the MG car manufacturing site in Birmingham, with reports of up to 140 jobs at risk.
MG Motor's parent company has started a consultation with staff at the car plant in Longbridge.
A spokesman for SAIC Motor UK Technical Centre (SMTC), said: “SMTC is conducting an operational review at its Birmingham base.
"SMTC is currently consulting with its staff to find the most appropriate solution and further updates will be issued in due course.”
