New pizza restaurant opening in Shrewsbury
A new artisan pizza franchise is set to open in Shrewsbury this month.
Fireaway Pizza will be setting up shop in Castle Gates on February 15 at 12pm.
Fireaway, which has about 50 restaurants currently in the UK, brings authentic Italian pizzas cooked in 180 seconds and also offers both gluten and vegan menu options and a selection of starters and deserts.
It will bring employment opportunities including chefs, kitchen staff and drivers. It will also be on platforms such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
The brand was launched in 2016 by Mario Aleppo, whose grandmother came to the UK from the Amalfi Coast in Italy in the 1950s, and brought with her Fireaway's pizza recipe.
It prides itself on serving fresh toppings and hand made dough, using a 400 degree fire oven which is both authentic and fast.
