Directors Richard Davies and Ben Nicoll have set up Hudson Property Shropshire, creating six jobs.

Mr Nicoll previously managed a commercial and residential property portfolio in Shropshire and London, while Mr Davies has been a property investor, developing and managing residential and commercial properties for over 25 years.

Mr Nicoll said: "We have been running a managed portfolio for several years and having talked to our existing clients, we believed there was a gap in the market for a modern boutique agency with a focus on customer service.

"Hudson Property Shropshire was born with its first customer facing office in Wellington with full web and Rightmove presence launched in February.

"Obviously the pandemic has presented a challenge as clients are naturally hesitant about meeting face-to-face, however the market hasn’t closed and we have adapted working practices to suit, embracing virtual tours and live video walkthroughs.

"The pandemic presented a good opportunity for our serviced accommodation properties, working with our professional cleaning contractors to provide luxury, Covid-19 safe properties for key workers.

"Investing in Wellington as our Shropshire base is proving excellent, we will look to expand our team of both landlord maintenance and refurbishment divisions this year and hope to increase our office team as the year goes on. Telford is set to continue growing over the next few years, and we intend to grow with it."
