Ashleigh Robertson, founder of Timeless Beauty, has taken on a lease on a shop in Frankwell, after moving from an out-of-town location.

The business, which opened on April 12, offers a range of services including wrinkle relaxing treatments, lip fillers, facial filler, skin peels, micro-needling, plasma blasting and PDO threads.

Ashleigh said: “I launched the business in September 2020 just before the second lockdown, following months of planning.

“My business idea came from my past experience in the health sector.

“I was training to become a nurse in 2016 and unfortunately it was not the right time for me.

“I wanted to put my qualifications to use and thought what better way than to use my skills to help individuals feel good about themselves.

“I feel this industry can help people feel upbeat and confident about themselves.

Potential

“Originally being on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, my aim was always to be in the town centre so I was delighted to get the opportunity to secure the lease on the new shop.

“I feel Shrewsbury town centre will give me the opportunity to grow my business and I feel it is a town with a great deal of potential.”

Ashleigh admits starting a new business during the pandemic has been challenging, but remains optimistic for the future.

“It has not allowed me to thrive as I would have liked to. My business is close contact and understandably these services along with many others have not been able to trade fully over the last 12 months.

"However, now that lockdown is starting to ease I am eager to get to work making the business the best it possibly can be. I’m excited about the future and what I have to offer people.

“My plan at the moment is to create a comfortable space that allows individuals to feel the best version of themselves. I will be working flexibly including weekends to accommodate customers.

“My aim is to eventually expand and employ staff who have the same beliefs and experience as myself to continue my dream,” Ashleigh added.
