Barbers praised for commitment during tough year for the industry
A barbers that opened weeks before the first lockdown last year has been praised for its commitment in trying times.
Simon Baynes, MP for Clwyd South, visited Domain Barbers in Chirk for a haircut and praised the team for their dedication in a very difficult year for the industry.
Domain Barbers first opened its doors in March 2020, just before the national lockdown.
Mr Baynes met some of the team including Kelly Jones, co-owner of Domain Barbers, Yusain Karidov, Connor Wintin and also Kayley Shailer, who runs KARM Therapies at the back of the shop, offering holistic treatments.
Mr Baynes said: “I know that for the majority of businesses across the country this has been a very difficult time, particularly within industries such as hairdressing and beauty.
"However, the dedication and commitment shown by the Domain Barbers team has been uplifting to see and I want to wish Kelly and her staff the very best for the future.”
