Jobs fear as Telford company once lauded by a Chancellor calls in the administrators
Administrators have been appointed at a plastics moulding company in Telford that was once visited by a Chancellor of the Exchequer - with dozens of jobs hanging in the balance.
International audit, tax and advisory firm Mazars was appointed to deal with LVS Small Plastic Parts based at Unit F1, Stafford Park 15, on June 2.
An announcement on the London Gazette official website said Adam Harris and Scott Christian Bevan, both of Mazars LLP in Birmingham, had been appointed.
Attempts have been made by the Shropshire Star to contact both LVS and Mazars. The LVS website is still live but the phone number listed has not been answered.
LVS Small Plastic Parts was incorporated as a private limited company on January 3, 1974, and has traded under different names since then.
The company is listed as having two directors; Simon Anderson, 48, a British national who was appointed in 2005, and Richard Morris, a 49-year old British national.
In 2021 LVS had a workforce of 89 people, up from 72 in 2020.
