The 'botched' car park repair at Sainsbury's in Bridgnorth

Earlier this week, residents and shoppers took to social media about the stench emerging from Sainsbury's car park in Whitburn Street in the town.

The residents complained that sewage was seeping through the car park that was reopened on August 15 after several weeks of repairs by Shropshire Council.

However, Craig Coates told users of the Bridgnorth News and Views Facebook page: "It only took a week or so but the leaking sewers have broken through the resurfacing in the Sainsbury's car park. Don't step in the puddles."
