The traditional country pub set on a high street among the Shropshire hills
As pubs battle the cost of living crisis, the Shropshire Star continues its Love Your Local series which celebrates our local inns.
The Kings Arms in Church Stretton has been described as a traditional country pub set on the town's High Street.
That is what Michael Darch-Williams, who runs the pub alongside his wife Sherrie Darch-Williams, says about their business.
The couple are originally from Worcestershire but moved to Shropshire in the late 2000s.
He says: "We're not from Church Stretton originally but we've been here around 15 years, and have been running this pub for six years now.
"We have had other pubs and restaurants as well. I love the hospitality industry, and I wouldn't be doing the job otherwise.
"We enjoy running this pub. Been here for six years and we plan to be here here for another six, all being well.
