Apprenticeship awards open

Apprentices, employers, schools and training providers are being urged to submit their entries and nominations by the deadline of July 6.

Tables are now on sale as well as sponsorship opportunities for the awards which will take place on November 15 at West Midland Safari Park, Bewdley.

Now in their fifth year, the awards run by Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and Worcestershire County Council have gone from strength to strength, with a record attendance of 360 people at last year’s awards.

There are 12 categories recognising the county’s most successful apprentices, schools, training providers and apprentice employers.

Gary Woodman, chief dxecutive of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to open nominations for the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards 2018. Our local apprenticeships continue to go from strength to strength, in terms of increasing participation and growing successes. The Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards are the perfect opportunity to celebrate these achievements.”
