The briefing session is being run by human resources and employment law experts at EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, at EEF’s West Midlands office in St James's House, Frederick Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham on October 4. It is part of EEF’s annual, UK-wide drive to help firms of all sizes remain safe and compliant. It will take local business owners and leaders through the latest legislation, case law and its implications for business.

They will hear about the key developments in employment law and find out how to ensure their business stays compliant in the face of ever-evolving legislation.

Roger Thomas of EEF said:: “This session is about getting local businesses up-to-speed on the latest legal developments that could affect their company. Firms are coming under greater scrutiny than ever before and it’s vital that they ensure they have the right policies and procedures in place. There are major implications from changes to Data Protection and the potential implications of Brexit.”
