A free roadshow designed to help small businesses grow and reach their potential is proving to be a big hit.
The first two Business Growth Workshops run by Shropshire firm Good2Great held recently in Telford and Shrewsbury were over-subscribed.
Now the firm, based in Bridgnorth, is aiming to take its roadshow around Shropshire and Herefordshire to help give small business a step up on the ladder of success.
The next one will be held at the Marches Centre of Manufacturing & Technology in Bridgnorth on April 30, from 8.30am-11am.
Future roadshows will be held in Ludlow, Oswestry, Hereford and Kidderminster, with a return to Telford and Shrewsbury planned following on from the success of the first two.
They are run by Good2Great Director Johnny Themans who has been in business for 29 years and founded the company in 2007 to pass on his knowledge and advice to others looking to forge successful ventures.
They are aimed at companies which have been in business for a year or more where the owners are hoping to take them to the next level.
Research by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) suggests that although 80 per cent of most business start-ups survive the first year, the survival rate after three years is only just above 50 per cent.
Among the many topics covered, the roadshow looks at how to increase income, how to reduce hours worked and how to be less stressed.
