Paycare signs up as the new Shropshire Chamber patron
Health cash plan provider Paycare has become a Patron of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce.
The not-for-profit organisation has been protecting individuals, their loved ones, and their businesses from everyday health care costs for over 150 years.
Chief executive Ant Burns said: “We’re thrilled to be joining Shropshire Chamber of Commerce as Patrons this year.
“We’ve always been proud supporters of everything the Chamber does to champion businesses and communities across the region, and so to pledge our formal support in this way was a natural step and one which enables us to showcase our commitment to its continued success.
“As a health cash plan provider dating back to 1874, we’ve been looking after the health and wellbeing of individuals within Shropshire for many years, including local businesses such as Ricoh, Makita, and Cedo.
“Through our Patronage we’re very much looking forward to expanding our support across the county and in helping even more businesses to reap the rewards from happier and healthier employees.”
Shropshire Chamber of Commerce’s patron programme is designed to give businesses the opportunity to raise awareness of their organisations, and express their commitment to the success of the local business community.
Rachel Owen, Shropshire Chamber’s director of membership, said: “Being a Patron is a mark of excellence and integrity, and demonstrates a firm commitment to the Chamber, and the success of Shropshire’s economy as a whole.
“Patrons understand and engage with one another and aim to identify opportunities, and trade with and obtain introductions for each other wherever possible.
“The objective is to generate ideas, enthusiasm and dynamic business opportunities and to feed this back through Shropshire Chamber and onwards to the county’s businesses as a whole.
“Through their attendance as patrons at appropriate events, networking forums and business expos, they demonstrate their belief in the programme and through on-going membership they commit to maintaining the highest standards.”
