Special milestone for Greenhous star Murray
A Shrewsbury Sales Executive has reached a significant milestone.
Murray Jones has achieved 30 years of continuous service with Greenhous.
He joined Greenhous in 1994, when the company was located in St Julian’s Friars, representing the Vauxhall and Opel Franchises.
At the time, the business was looking to expand, with an impending move to a prestigious new state-of-the-art showroom, around the corner in Old Potts Way, Shrewsbury.
Murray joined the team and was present at the opening ceremony with Stirling Moss when his career pathway was set, selling new and used Vauxhall cars, and commercial vehicles.
A spokesperson for Greenhous said: "Murray's trustworthy attitude has earned him and Greenhous many loyal customers from far and wide, with one customer reminding him he was taking delivery of his 10th car.
"During Murray's 30 years of service, he says that although the products have changed immensely the basic principles of looking after customers have not, earning him a loyal following."
In 2019 Murray was awarded a gold watch - one of over 220 awarded by the company.
A spokesperson added: "Murray’s anniversary couldn’t have come at a better time to achieve top performing sales executive for November, in the group's retail business' recently published figures."
Murray lives locally in Shrewsbury and enjoys sports, keeping fit, walking his dogs, and spending quality time with his wife and family.
