Crystal shop owner lives the dream as she turns passion into successful Newport business
When Arantxa Colen was handed the keys to her own premises in Newport last year it was the chance to fulfil a dream and maintain a passion she'd had since childhood.

Rock N Soul Crystals opened at 93a High Street in her home town, selling crystals as well as jewellery, incense and essential oils, framed ethical taxidermy and accessories.
By her own admission, she had wanted to open a shop for years, and when the opportunity came about to do so in Newport last March, she jumped at the chance.
"I live a five-minute walk from the shop and grew up in Newport," said Arantxa. "It's a lovely town and everyone is really friendly so I was thrilled to be able to open the shop here.
"It always feels like it's bustling and flourishing here. There's a nice atmosphere and it's just a really lovely place.
"We are coming up to a year in business and everyone has been so kind and supportive towards us. We are really appreciative."
Rock N Soul sells all different things for every budget, from tiny £1 crystals to statement pieces. Entering the shop is an eye-catching experience and visitors are drawn to all manner of stunning colours.
The success of any business is often down to the passion its owner has for it - and crystals are something that Arantxa says she has loved from an early age.
"I always collected crystals when I was younger," she said. "Like a lot of children, I loved the colours.
"I'd pick things up on the beach and think to myself 'Is there a crystal in that?'
"I would keep them in my bag and car, and have them in specific places around my house.
