A 46-year-old man from Telford who helped run a cannabis factory inside two shipping containers has been ordered to pay back just £8.

Stephen Millington, of Briarwood, Brookside, benefited to the tune of £13,108 from the factory set up at a unit in Granville Road, Donnington Wood. But he will pay back just £8 and forfeit the two shipping containers used following a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday.

The confiscation fee was agreed after it was discovered Millington had just £8 in his bank account.

But he was also ordered to forfeit the two shipping units – valued at £1,100.

Millington and two other men – Steven Galbraith, 31, of Andreas Drive, Muxton, Telford, and Robert Davis, 49, also of Briarwood – were all jailed for more than two years in February for producing the Class B drug between September 2010 and December 2010.
