Dane Antony Enright, from Donnington, is wanted by police after he failed to appear at Telford Magistrates' Court on November 7 in connection with an assault.

Police have searched numerous addresses in the area in a bid to trace Enright but have so far been unable to locate him.

Detectives say they believe Enright is being harboured by someone in the area.

Detective Sergeant Paul Mathison, who is based at Malinsgate Police Station in Telford, said: "Dane Enright, who is 24, has been a prolific offender in the past and we believe is deliberately evading capture as he knows he has failed to make this court appearance.

"We have searched numerous addresses in an attempt to locate and arrest him but at the present time we have not been able to track him down."

Mr Mathison added: "We believe someone may be harbouring him and I would warn anyone who is helping him that they will be dealt with robustly when we find out.

"If you have any information regarding Dale Enright's whereabouts, we would urge you to contact us.

"He knows we are looking for him for failing to appear at court and although we will continue to work as hard as we can to find him, we would appreciate any information from the public that could assist us."

Detectives are asking that anyone who spots Dale Enright or anyone who has any information about his whereabouts should call police officers in Telford on 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555111.
