Woman robbed of takings in Wem
A woman has been robbed of a business's takings as she left the business late at night.

Police say hundreds of pounds was taken by a man who approached the woman in the dark as she left Dedman's grocers in Shrubbery Gardens, Wem at about 11.35pm yesterday.
She fell to the floor during a struggle and the offender escaped with the takings and three packets of cigarettes in a basket when the handle broke.
The victim was not injured but was left shaken. Police have appealed for anyone with information about the robbery to contact them on 101.
The cigarettes were found discarded near the scene and a man fitting the description of the offender was seen running down Kynaston Drive about five minutes later.
