Raiders make off with £2,000 haul from Telford home
Raiders stole more than £2,000 worth of goods after breaking into a house in Wellington.
They broke into the house in King Street by smashing the kitchen window at the back of the house before stealing a Toshiba television, a Technika TV/DVD combo and various items of jewellery.
They also stole watches worth more than £500, and caused more than £250 of damage.
The incident happened sometime between 5pm on Saturday and 9.30am on Sunday.
Chris Ammonds, from the West Mercia Police, said: "The victims were away overnight and when they returned they noticed watches were on the floor in the back garden.
"They then saw the window had been broken. It appears that the thieves got out of the house by using the house keys to open the back door."

In an unrelated incident, three teenagers are being sought by police after they ran away from an officer who wanted to speak to them about a burglary in Telford just before 5pm yesterday in Beaconsfield, Brookside, when three people forced entry to a house.
There was someone inside who scared them away, and when a police officer approached the teenagers in the area a short time later, they ran away.
Mr Ammonds said: "The front door has been forced.
"Nothing would appear to have been taken, but they caused a couple of hundred of pounds of damage to the lock on the door.
"The first is 5ft 11in, and was wearing a dark blue top, dark blue or black trousers, quite skinny and being in his late teens or early 20s.
"The second male was aged between 13 and 15, while the female was around 16, with her black hair in a bob, with a long black jacket and bottoms.
