Burglar stopped as he tries to steal car in Whitchurch
A homeowner disturbed a thief who was trying to steal a car during a burglary in the early hours outside a home in Whitchurch.

The owner of the car was woken when he heard the thief, who had stolen the keys, trying to start the vehicle outside the house in Oak Drive, at about 3am yesterday.
On being spotted, the offender ran off towards Alkington Road.
The front door of the home was forced, causing about £500 damage, and various rooms were searched.
Richard Ewels, a West Mercia Police spokesman, said: "If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area of Oak Drive I would appeal to them to contact us by calling 101.
"Information can also be given to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."
