Telford burglars net £1,500 in games and jewellery

Computers, games consoles and a large quantity of jewellery were taken during a burglary in Telford.

The break-in happened at an address on Cornflower Grove, Ketley, after the thieves forced a kitchen window at the back of the house.

Once inside they carried out a thorough search of almost all the rooms before stealing a number of items and escaping.

Items stolen in yesterday's burglary included an Apple iPad, a Microsoft Xbox 360, a Nintendo DS, a TomTom satellite navigation system and also a significant amount of jewellery including watches.

The total value of the stolen items is thought to be at least £1,500.

The break-in happened some time between 7.50am and 3.15pm yesterday.
